Only Members of the Exchange are able to view and trade or place counteroffers on deals posted on the Exchange.
What is it?
Cicada Exchange is a B2B tool that allows mobile network operators (MNOs) to buy and sell roaming capacity between themselves. It mimics the WAS negotiations that are held bi-annually where MNOs buy and sell roaming capacity today.
Cicada Exchange is an electronic marketplace that compliments the WAS negotiations by allowing the buying and selling of roaming capacity remotely, in a secure and commercially sensitive way. Cicada Exchange can work in parallel with bilateral negotiation.
Cicada Exchange complements the existing roaming negotiation model by offering a more flexible and dynamic way to set prices and agree volumes.
Like existing bilateral negotiation such as WAS, Cicada Exchange builds upon the roaming contracts already in place.
